CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 20 September 1990
amending the Constitution of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, as amended
The Federal Assembly of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic decided on this constitutional law:
Constitutional Act No. 100 / 1960 Coll., Constitution of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, as amended by the later constitutional laws, is amended as follows:
1. Article 6 shall be deleted.
2. the following paragraph 6 is added to Article 101:
"(6) Proposals for election and appeals pursuant to paragraphs 1, 2 and 5 shall be submitted to the Federal Assembly by the competent Minister of Justice to the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic and to the National Council by an authorised member of the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic."
3. The text of Article 102 shall become paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 shall be added:
"(2) After their election, the judges take the following oath:" I promise in my honour and conscience that I will abide by constitutional and other laws and will make decisions according to my best conviction, independently and impartially. "
The settlement of assets administered by the former National Front and the settlement of claims from the employment relations of workers of the former National Front will be provided by the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic and the Government of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
