COMMUNICATION
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that on 17 December 1994 the Protocol on energy savings and related environmental aspects was adopted in Lisbon.
On behalf of the Czech Republic, the Protocol was signed in Lisbon on 8 June 1995. The Charter on the approval of the Protocol on energy savings and related environmental aspects of the Czech Republic was deposited with the Government of the Portuguese Republic, depositary of the Protocol, on 28 May 1996.
The Protocol entered into force on 16 April 1998 on the basis of Article 18 (1) and entered into force on 16 April 1998 for the Czech Republic as well.
The text of the Protocol can be consulted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
