DECLARATION
of 19 November 2013
amending Decree No. 22 / 2013 Coll., on education in the section on the protection of animals against abuse
According to Article 29 (1) of Act No. 246 / 1992 Coll., for the protection of animals against abuse, as amended by Act No. 162 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 77 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 312 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 291 / 2009 Coll. and Act No. 359 / 2012 Coll., to implement § 15d. 7:
Decree No 22 / 2013 Coll., on education in the section on the protection of animals against abuse, is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 10, the following paragraph 4 is inserted after paragraph 3:
"(4) For the holders of a valid certificate of competence for the management, implementation and control of animal experiments issued by 31 December 2012, the training course for obtaining a certificate of competence for the design of experiments and experimental projects shall take place within 10 teaching hours of theoretical teaching and the content of the course shall be in particular fundamental issues and changes in the areas referred to in paragraph 2. ';
Paragraph 4 shall become paragraph 5.
2. In Article 12, the following paragraph 3 is inserted after paragraph 2:
"(3) For the holders of a valid certificate of competence for technicians, technicians and caregivers issued until 31 December 2012, the training course for obtaining a certificate of competence for experimental animals, the care of experimental animals and the killing of experimental animals shall take place within the scope of 10 teaching hours of theoretical instruction and the content of the course shall be in particular fundamental questions and changes in the areas referred to in paragraph 2. ';
Paragraph 3 shall become paragraph 4.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2014.
