DECLARATION
of 23 October 2012
on the issue of the commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Municipal House in Prague
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 7 November 2012, the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Municipal House in Prague is issued a commemorative silver two hundred crowns ("commemorative coins").
(2) The commemorative coins are issued in the normal version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) The commemorative coins in normal and special design are rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the commemorative coin is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and its strength 2,2 mm. When the commemorative coin is embossed in normal and special design, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of the commemorative coin in the normal version is serrated, the edge of the commemorative coin in the special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front of the commemorative coin is a depiction of "Loyalty" from the decoration of the Primatorial Hall of the Municipal House in Prague. On the left of the image "Loyalty" is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" in stylized Art Nouveau letters, and below it the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK." The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the composition of the letters "No" and "M" is under the denomination of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the commemorative coin is the facade of the Municipal House in Prague. On the left of it is the stylized Art Nouveau inscription "OPENING THE GENERAL HOUSE IN PRÁZE" and the years "1912" and "2012." At the lower left edge of the commemorative coin are the initials of the author of the commemorative coin, the academic sculptor Majka Wichner, which are composed of the letters "MW."
(3) The image of the commemorative coin is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree takes effect on 7 November 2012.
