DECLARATION
of 13 October 2003
on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Ski Union in the Kingdom of the Czech Republic
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of skiers in the Kingdom of the Czech Republic, the first National Ski Union in the world, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of two-hundredth stamping in normal and special design, the tolerance allowed shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In the mass, the allowed tolerance is up to 0,26 g and in the silver content is up to 1%.
(1) On the cheek of the two-hundred crown, the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is on the outer ring in the upper and right part of the unclosed copy, in the lower left part also in the unclosed copy the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK." The main motive of the front is a portrait of Josef Rössler-Ořovský, a pioneer and a skiing promoter in Bohemia, 70 years since his death this year. On the sides of the portrait there is the text "JOSEF RÖSSLER ORIGIN 1869 1933" at the inner edge of the intercircle in a two-row unclosed copy, so that the words "JOSEF RÖSSLER" and "1869" are placed to the left of the portrait, the remaining text on the right. In the lower right part of the two-hundred crown there is an oval medallion with a period Czech lion, laid over two contemporary skis, which partially covers the portrait and goes from the centre of the two-hundred crown to the intercircle. On the outer ring there is a mark of the mint on the left in the middle, which drove two hundred crowns.
(2) On the reverse of two hundred crowns, a skier is shown on Wednesday in contemporary clothes and with period skis with one stick. The right skis and sticks go from the centre of the two hundred crowns to the intercircle. The years "1903" and "2003" are separated by a line on the left of the skier. There is a copy of "CZECH ASSOCIATION IN THE KINGDOM OF CZECH" on the outer ring. The author of the design of the two hundred crowns is the academic sculptor Ladislav Kozák, whose initials "L • K" are located in the lower right part of the centre of the two hundred crowns at the inner edge of the intercircle.
This Decree takes effect on 19 November 2003.
