THE LAW
of 14 September 2000
amending Act No. 591 / 1992 Coll., on Securities, as amended, and certain other laws
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment to the Securities Commission Act
Act No. 15 / 1998 Coll., on the Securities Commission and amending and supplementing other laws, as amended by Act No. 30 / 2000 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Article 5, paragraph 1, including footnotes 3 and 4, shall be deleted;
Paragraphs 2 to 4 shall be renumbered paragraphs 1 to 3.
2. In Article 5 (2), the words, including footnote 4 (a), shall be inserted after the words "a securities dealer ':" a branch of a foreign securities trader, a person carrying out the acceptance and transmission of orders relating to investment instruments under the conditions laid down in a separate law, 4a)
4a) § 45a of Act No. 591 / 1992 Coll. '
3. In Article 5 (3), the words "points (a) to (c) of paragraph 1 'are deleted.
4. in Article 12 (1) (d), the words "referred to in Article 5 (1) (a) and (b)" shall be deleted;
5. In the third sentence of Article 12 (3), the words "referred to in Article 5 (1) (a) and (b) 'are deleted.
Amendment of the Trade Act

In Article 3 (3), the following shall be added at the end of point (a), including footnote 13b: "the activities of persons carrying out the acceptance and transmission of orders relating to investment instruments under the conditions laid down in the Special Act, 13b)

PERFORMANCE TO DECLARATION OF THE COMPLETE VERSION OF THE LAW
The Prime Minister is hereby authorised to publish in the Collection of Laws the full text of Act No. 591 / 1992 Coll., on securities, as is apparent from later Laws, and the full text of Act No. 248 / 1992 Coll., on investment companies and investment funds, as is apparent from later Laws.
EFFECTIVE
This Law shall enter into force on 1 January 2001, with the exception of the provisions of Article 1 (I) (129), which shall take effect on 1 July 2002, and with the exception of the provisions of Article 1 (78) (45b) and Article 45c (13), point 110 (48b) to (48i), points 164 (72) (12), (78b), (78d) (2) (d) and (j) and (3) and (78f), point 168 (80b) (6) and (7), Article 80c (8) and Article 81c (13) and the provisions of Article III (11) (35n) (7), Article 35r and Article 35s), which shall take effect from the date of the entry into force of the Treaty on the European Union.
