DECLARATION
of 4 November 2013
fixing the flat-rate amount of costs incurred by the State in connection with the takeover of the sentenced person
According to § 132 (3) of Act No. 104 / 2013 Coll., the Ministry of Justice provides for international judicial cooperation in criminal matters:
The flat-rate amount of the costs incurred by the Czech Republic in connection with the takeover of a sentenced person who, with his consent, has been taken from a foreign State for the execution of an unconditional prison sentence imposed by a recognised foreign decision shall be:
a) 5,000 CZK, if the sentenced foreign state with which the Czech Republic has a common national border
(b) 65 000 CZK, if the sentenced foreign State is transferred from another place situated in Europe; and
c) CZK 150,000 in other cases.
Decree No 24 / 2002 Coll., establishing the flat-rate amount of costs incurred by the State in connection with the surrender of the sentenced persons, is hereby repealed.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2014.
