DECLARATION
of 15 September 2009
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns to the 400th anniversary of the formulation of Kepler's laws of planetary movement
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On the 400th anniversary of the formulation of Kepler's laws of planetary movement, a commemorative silver two hundred crown (hereinafter referred to as the two hundred crown) is issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%.
(1) On the face of the two hundred crown is a sketch of the path of planet Mars from the book of Johann Kepler "Astronomia nova." The name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC 'at the upper and right edges of the two hundred crowns. The denomination of the coin with the acronym of the money unit" 200 CZK "is at the bottom edge of the two hundred koruna. Between the name of the State and the denomination of the coin, there is the mark of the mint that drove the two-hundred crown and the logo of the Europa project in which the two-hundred crown is based. The Europa logo takes the form of a star placed in the symbol" €'.
(2) On the reverse of two hundred crowns is a portrait of Johann Kepler against the background of a drawing of the law of the surfaces. At the right edge of the two-hundredth crown, the copy of the "KEPLER LAW MOVE PLANET" is interrupted after the word "LAW" by a drawing of the law on areas. At the lower left edge of the two-hundredth crown, the years are "1609 - 2009," which partially interfere with the beard of the portrait with the numbers "09" of the year "2009." At the left edge of the two-hundred crown, next to the portrait of Johann Kepler is placed the initials of the author of the two-hundred crown, Vojtěch Dostála, DiS., which consists of the inverted letter "D."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree takes effect on 21 October 2009.
