amending Decree No. 239 / 1998 of the Czech Mining Authority Coll., on the safety and health at work and the safety of operations in the production and treatment of oil and gas and in drilling and geophysical works and amending certain regulations to ensure safety and health at work and safety of operations in mining and mining activities
According to § 6 (6) (a), (b) and (d) of Act No. 61 / 1988 Coll., on Mining Activities, Explosives and State Mining Administration:
Decree No. 239 / 1998 Coll., on safety and health at work and safety of operations in the production and treatment of oil and natural gas and in drilling and geophysical works and amending certain regulations to ensure safety and health at work and safety of operations in mining and mining activities is amended as follows:
In Paragraph 40, the following paragraph 4 is inserted after paragraph 3:
"(4) Vices for the search, degasification and monitoring of old or abandoned mining works may be carried out at a distance of up to 3 metres from the objects and equipment, but only if the manager approves the documentation identifying the necessary safety measures to prevent the accumulation of methane in the immediate vicinity of the well and to remove it to a safe distance."
Paragraph 4 shall become paragraph 5.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
