According to Section 7 (3) of Act No. 115 / 2000 Coll., the Ministry of the Environment provides for compensation for damage caused by selected specially protected animals:
Method of calculating the amount of compensation for damage caused by specified domesticated animals, dogs used for babysitting, fish, bees and apiculture
(1) The amount of compensation shall be determined as the normal price. The usual price is the price that would be obtained when selling a similar defined domesticated animal, a dog used to babysit them, fish, hives and beekeeping equipment in normal domestic trade on the date of the occurrence of the damage, and if it is not possible to accurately determine the date of the occurrence of the damage, the date when the damage is most likely to occur.
(2) The amount of compensation in the event of partial damage shall be determined by the difference between the normal price and the price which would have been made in the ordinary course of trade in the country for the damaged item or, where appropriate, by the cost of the removal of the damage.
Method of calculating the amount of compensation for damage caused to unharvested field crops
The amount of compensation shall be determined on the basis of the market prices of the crops obtained at the time of their previous harvest, based on the normal yield at that location.
Method of calculating the amount of compensation for forest damage
The amount of compensation shall be determined in accordance with specific legislation. 1)

This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
