on the introduction of summer time in 1979 and 1980
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders pursuant to § 1 of Act No. 54 / 1946 Coll., on Summer Time, under § 15 of Act No. 145 / 1970 Coll., on National Economic Planning, and under § 85 of the Labour Code after discussion with the Central Council of Trade Unions:
The beginning and end of summer time in 1979
(1) Summer time is introduced on 1 April 1979; On that day, at 0.00 Central European time, the clock will be moved to one hour of summer time.
(2) Summer time ends on 30 September 1979; on that day, at one o'clock in the morning, the hours will be shifted to 0.00 o'clock in Central European time.
The beginning and end of summer time in 1980
(1) Summer time is introduced on 6 April 1980; On that day, at 0.00 Central European time, the clock will be moved to one hour of summer time.
(2) Summer time ends on 28 September 1980; on that day, at one o'clock in the morning, the hours will be shifted to 0.00 o'clock in Central European time.
(1) The fixed weekly working hours for workers whose beginning of summer time in 1979 or 1980 will be one hour shorter in their working shift if such working hours are reduced as a result of the introduction of summer time.
(2) The fixed weekly working hours for workers whose end of summer time between 1979 and 1980 will be one hour longer on their shift if such working hours are extended as a result of the end of summer time.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 April 1979.
