GOVERNMENT REGULATION

of 15 April 1969
laying down further cases where an apartment may be allocated in the public interest
The Government of the Czech Socialist Republic orders pursuant to § 20 paragraph 2 of Act No. 41 / 1964 Coll., on the management of flats:
Čl. I
In view of the State interest, except in the cases referred to in § 20 (1) of Act No. 41 / 1964 Coll., the apartment may be allocated outside the waiting list:
(a) citizens in the context of redress for injustices caused by unlawful judgments by courts or administrative authorities;
(b) members of the Bureau of the Czech National Council, leaders of the central political parties of the National Front and heads of the central offices of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Czech Socialist Republic;
(c) leaders of political and public life whose housing situation is not resolved, on the recommendation of the competent authority of the National Front;
(d) citizens who cease to perform public functions and who are obliged to release the apartments which have been left to use them for the duration of their duties;
(e) officials of ministries and other central offices and bodies, as well as organisations directly subordinate to them on a proposal from the Minister or the head of another central office or authority and citizens of the Slovak Socialist Republic, who will become workers of federal ministries and committees within the framework of the federal organisation of the state and do not have their own place in Prague; for these purposes, the government shall establish a special reserve;
(f) foreign nationals, if they act in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic as foreign lecturers of universities, journalists, rapporteurs of foreign press services, editors of foreign broadcasts of Czechoslovak Radio or if they have been appointed as specialists in our national territory under intergovernmental agreements and persons to whom they have been provided in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic asyl;
(g) citizens who voluntarily release their existing apartments to satisfy the housing needs of persons referred to in § 20 (1) (a) and (b) of Act No. 41 / 1964 Coll.;
(h) significant scientific and artistic staff on a proposal from the competent central authority;
(ch) important athletes - representatives of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic on a proposal from the Ministry of Youth and Physical Education in agreement with the Central Committee of the Czech National Physical Organization or the Central Committee of the Association for Cooperation with the Army, unless they have their own apartment or live in an apartment which is disabled or unfit;
(i) important workers and experts involved in the construction and reconstruction of the capital of Prague or Brno for a longer period, unless they have their own apartment in Prague or Brno;
(j) citizens having at the same time more than two children, if they do not have their own apartment or live in an apartment which is disabled or unfit;
(k) professional judges, on application by the Minister of Justice, if they do not have their own place in the seat of the court or in the vicinity;
(l) prosecutors and prosecutors on a proposal from the Attorney General, if they do not have their own place of business or nearby;
(m) senior officials of the National Security and Correctional Education Corps, on a proposal from the Minister to whom the College is subordinate, if they do not have their own place of employment or close proximity.
(n) medical practitioners and pharmacists providing medical services (1) in the counties of Sokolov, Chomutov, Most, Teplice, Ústí nad Labem, in the district of Česká Lípa with the exception of the municipality of Doksy and in the district of Louny in the municipalities of Počerada, Blažim, Vysokov and Břvany.
(o) personnel recruited in the framework of the resettlement of selected territories, in the municipalities or parts of municipalities listed in the Annex to this Regulation.
Čl. II
This Government Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
