Decree of the Ministry of Finance
of 2 August 1956
on the adjustment of certain ratios of the Trade Bank, a national enterprise.
The Ministry of Finance, with the approval of the Government pursuant to § 5 of Act No. 84 / 1952 Coll., provides for the organisation of the money industry:
In view of the increasing scope of international relations and the associated payment relations with foreign countries, the Zivnostenská banka, a national undertaking, remains active in an unchanged legal form as a monetary institution with a particular focus on a banking service for private foreign clients.
The core capital of the Trade Bank, the national enterprise, is adjusted to CZK 80 million and its general reserve fund to CZK 20 million; the general reserve fund will be subsidised by regular profit allocations until it reaches the level of the share capital.
The Trade Bank, a national undertaking, is entitled to maintain branches abroad; new branches may be established with the permission of the Ministry of Finance.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
