THE LAW
of 23 September 2003
amending Act No. 406 / 2000 Coll., on Energy Management
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 406 / 2000 Coll., on Energy Management, is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 9 (5) is deleted.
Paragraphs 6 and 7 shall become paragraphs 5 and 6.
2. in Article 12 (2) (a), the words "and 5" shall be deleted;
3. In Paragraph 14 (3), the first sentence is "Organizational elements of the State, regional and municipal areas, contribution organisations referred to in § 9 (3) (b) and natural and legal persons referred to in § 9 (3) (b). (c) are obliged to have an energy audit carried out on the energy economy and buildings operated by them within 4 years of the date of entry into force of this Act."
4. In Paragraph 14, the following paragraph 7 is added:
"(7) The obligation to process an energy audit shall not apply to the energy economy and buildings for which a building permit has been issued, or the construction or modification of the completed construction has begun or ended
(a) until 31 December 2001 with a State subsidy granted by the Czech Energy Agency under the programme; or
(b) until 31 December 2001 with a State grant or loan by the State Environmental Fund, the Ministry of Regional Development or the Ministry of Agriculture. "
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
