THE LAW
of 9 December 1999
amending Act No. 38 / 1995 Coll., on technical conditions for the operation of road vehicles on the road
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 38 / 1995 Coll., on Technical Conditions for Road Traffic of Road Vehicles, is amended as follows:
1. in Article 6 (4) (a), the words "except for unbraked trailer, the total weight of which does not exceed 750 kg," shall be inserted after the words "trailers."
2. In Article 6 (4) (b), the words "a road vehicle with a right of priority, a training road vehicle of a driving school," and the words "trailers" shall be inserted after the words "except for an unbraked trailer whose total mass does not exceed 750 kg."
3. in Article 6 (4), point (c) is deleted;
Points (d) and (e) shall be renumbered (c) and (d).
4. In Article 6 (4) (c), "speed does not exceed 40 km.h-1," is replaced by "speed does not exceed 50 km.h-1,"
5. in Article 6 (4) (d), "within two years" shall be replaced by "within three years" and "within two years at the latest" shall be replaced by "within three years at the latest."
6. In Article 6, the following paragraph 6 is inserted after paragraph 5:
"(6) The time limit for the placing on the market of a road vehicle for a technical inspection referred to in paragraph 4 (a), (b), (c) and (d) and paragraph 5 shall be calculated from the date of registration of the road vehicle and from the date of completion of the technical inspection, as recorded in the road vehicle technical certificate.";
Paragraphs 6, 7 and 8 shall be renumbered paragraphs 7, 8 and 9.
7. in Article 6 (7), "(a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) 'is replaced by" (a), (b), (c) and (d)';
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
