DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 22 April 1987
on the issue of the commemorative silver hundred and twenty-five anniversary of the foundation of the Banicka Academy in Banská Štiavnica
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the 225th anniversary of the establishment of the Banická akademie in Banská Štiavnica, commemorative silver hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Hunting from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The weight of the stocron is 13 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 31 mm, the edge is serrated.
(1) On the face of the hundred crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in the middle of the top and around it in an unclosed copy the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." Under the national emblem, the value "100 CZK" is in two rows.
(2) On the back of the Stokron is depicted the period steam pumping mine of Hell's machine, the predecessor of Watt's steam engine. At the edge there is an unclosed copy of "BANKA AKADEMIA IN BANSKE SHIELD." On the right in the middle there are two rows of "1762" and "1987," below them is the emblem of Banská Štiavnica.
(3) The author of the hundred crown design is Drahomir Zobek. The initials of his name "DZ" are placed on the back of the left in the middle.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 1987.
