on a medal for a heroic act and an honorary title
The Government of the Czech Socialist Republic orders according to § 9 paragraph 4 of Act No. 62 / 1962 Coll., on the Lease of Honours:
§ 1
Honourable recognition is established
(a) the Medal of Heroes,
(b) Honorary title A deserving member of the Fire Protection Corps.
§ 2
(1) The Medal of Heroes may be awarded to members of the Fire Protection Corps, staff of the fire department, members of the voluntary public fire departments, members of the voluntary fire brigades, fire patrols and citizens to appreciate their courage and dedication in fighting fire or in rescue work in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency. 1)
(2) With a medal for a heroic act, a deed of award is handed over.
§ 3
(1) Honorary title A Fellow of the Fire Protection Corps may be awarded to members of the Fire Protection Corps for evaluation
(a) exceptional work results in order to protect the life and health of citizens and property from fires, natural disasters and other exceptional occurrences, 1)
(b) specific merit in developing fire protection;
taking into account the social involvement of the member.
(2) With the award of the Honorary Degree, a member of the Fire Protection Corps shall be given the instrument of award.
(3) With an honorary title A Fellow of the Fire Protection Corps is associated with the right to wear an honorary badge.
§ 4
(1) Medal for the heroic act and honorary title A worthy member of the Fire Protection Corps is awarded by the Minister of Interior of the Czech Socialist Republic.
(2) The Minister of the Interior of the Czech Socialist Republic may withdraw the medal For a heroic act or an honorary title A deserving member of the Fire Protection Corps to a person who has committed an act which makes him unworthy of such an honorary recognition, or if he becomes aware that he has been granted an honorary recognition undeservedly.
(3) He to whom the medals for a heroic act or an honorary title have been withdrawn, a deserving member of the Fire Protection Corps, is obliged to return the deed of their award and the medal or badge of the authority which manages the matters of such honorary recognition.
§ 5
(1) The Minister of the Interior of the Czech Socialist Republic will issue a medal for a heroic act and a title for a worthy member of the Fire Protection Corps.
(2) The case of the Medal for the Heroic Act and the Honorary Degree of the Preservation Corps is administered by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Socialist Republic.
§ 6
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 1986.
