CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 9 April 1960
amending the Constitutional Act on elections to the National Assembly and elections to the Slovak National Council and the Constitutional Act on National Committees
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following constitutional law:
(1) 300 constituencies will be created for election to the National Assembly.
(2) Election circuits for elections to the Slovak National Council are identical to those created in Slovakia for elections to the National Assembly.
(1) The term of office of the National Assembly and the Slovak National Council elected on 28 November 1954 will expire on 10 June 1960.
(2) The national committees elected on 19 May 1957 remain in operation until the new national committees are elected.
The authorities of the state power of the working people in the counties, counties and municipalities are regional national committees, district national committees, urban national committees, district national committees and local national committees; in the capital of Prague National Committee of the capital of Prague and district national committees.
This constitutional law amends the provisions of § 2 (2) of Constitutional Act No. 26 / 1954 Coll., on elections to the National Assembly and on elections to the Slovak National Council, § 4 (1) of Constitutional Act No. 33 / 1956 Coll., on Slovak National Authorities, and § 2 of the First Constitutional Act No. 12 / 1954 Coll., on National Committees.
This constitutional law shall take effect from the date of its publication, with the exception of the provisions of Article 3, which shall take effect from the date on which the national committees are elected in 1960. The government will do it.
