Government Regulation
of 3 August 1954
about commemorative coins.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 9 (b) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on Money Reform:
(1) Memorial coins can be embossed to remember events of national importance.
(2) Memory coins are measured in the values in which banknotes are issued under the applicable rules.
(1) The issue of commemorative coins is decided in each individual case by the government, which also sets the value, composition of the coin metal, gross weight of the piece and the number of pieces to be embossed.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they shall be implemented by the Finance Minister in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
