of 16 December 1999
on government bond schemes to cover the sovereign debt securities due in 2000 and the deficit of the state budget of the Czech Republic for 1999 exceeding the budget deficit
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
State bond programme to cover the sovereign debt securities due in 2000
(1) The extent of the government bond programme to cover the principal of the national debt due in 2000 is CZK 71 011 000 000.
(2) Any liabilities arising from this sovereign bond programme will be repaid no later than 35 years after the date of entry into force of this Act.
Government bond programme to cover the deficit of the Czech state budget for 1999 in excess of the budget deficit
(1) The extent of the government bond programme to cover the 1999 government budget deficit of the Czech Republic in excess of the budget deficit is equal to the difference by which the state budget deficit for 1999, as calculated by the Ministry of Finance after the end of 1999, exceeds the budget deficit.
(2) Any liabilities arising from this sovereign bond programme will be repaid no later than 2 years after the date of entry into force of this Act.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 2000.
