DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 22 April 1987
on the issue of commemorative silver 50 crowns with the motive of the horse Převalský
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) To commemorate the permanent care of endangered species of animals and the success of the Prague Zoological Garden in the wild horse breeding of Prefalski, commemorative silver 50 crowns ("50 crowns") are issued.
(2) The 50 crowns are rolled from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The weight of 50 kroner is 7 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 27 mm, the edge is serrated.
(1) On the face of fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and around it in an unclosed copy the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." Under the national emblem, the value "50 CZK" and the year "1987" is in two rows.
(2) On the reverse of the fifty crown is depicted the foal and mare of the horse of Převalský. In the lower part there is the Czech name "CROATIA KONEN" and the Latin name "EQUUS PRZEWALSKII."
(3) The author of the proposal is Anton Gábrik, the initials of his name "AG" are above the name "HUNT OF TRANSFER" on the right.
This Decree shall take effect on 15 May 1987.
