DECLARATION
of 8 November 2023
on the issue of the commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 300th anniversary of the death of Jan Blazej Santini-Aichel
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 6 December 2023, the 300th anniversary of the death of Jan Blazej Santini-Aichel is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief.
(3) Two hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,25 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,26 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) The facade of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Sedlce is shown in the foreground on the front of the two hundred crown and in the background a partial motif of the Marian star. There are six other Marian stars on the perimeter of the coin. At the bottom edge of the coin is the text "CZECH REPUBLIC," above which the denomination is marked with the abbreviation "200 CZK." The individual words of the text "CZECH REPUBLIC 'are enclosed by asterisks. The brand of Czech Mint consisting of the letters" No "and" M "is in the middle of the coin in the Gothic window.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crown is the church of St. John Nepomuk on the Green Mountain. In the upper edge of the coin is the text "JAN BLAŽEJ SANTINI AICHEL." The individual words of this text are enclosed by asterisks. At the bottom edge of the coin are the texts "1723" and "2023." The initials of the author of the academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl, which are composed of the letters "V" and "O", are at the right edge of the coin.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree shall take effect on 6 December 2023.
