DECLARATION
of 21 October 2013
amending Decree No 77 / 2003 Coll., laying down requirements for milk and milk products, frozen creams and edible fats and oils, as amended
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to Article 18 (1) (a) of Act No. 110 / 1997 Coll., on Food and Tobacco Products and amending and supplementing certain related laws, as amended by Act No. 119 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 306 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 146 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 274 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 316 / 2004 Coll. and Act No. 120 / 2008 Coll.:
This Decree was notified in accordance with Directive 98 / 34 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 June 1998 laying down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations and of rules on information society services, as amended.
Decree No. 77 / 2003 Coll., laying down requirements for milk and milk products, frozen creams and edible fats and oils, as amended by Decree No. 124 / 2004 Coll., Decree No. 78 / 2005 Coll. and Decree No. 370 / 2008 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Paragraph 1 (2) (q):
"(q) traditional spreads - milk product of sour cream, with added dried milk with the possibility of enrichment of whey powder or buttermilk, containing by weight not less than 31% and not more than 36% of milk fat and not less than 42% of dry matter produced by traditional technology by means of high pressure homogenisation of the cream mixture, followed by acidification of the mixture and thermification with final homogenisation before filling into the packaging, '.
2. In Paragraph 3 (19), the words "Pomazanka butter 'are replaced by the words" Traditional spread'.
3. In Articles 3 (39) and 3 (40), the words "spreads butter 'are replaced by" traditional spreads'.
Transitional provision
Foodstuffs labelled under Decree No 77 / 2003 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this Order, may be put into circulation by 1 May 2014 at the latest. Foods put into circulation before that date may be sold until stocks are sold out.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 November 2013.
