DECLARATION
of 21 August 2008
amending Decree No. 279 / 1999 Coll., of the Ministry of Defence, determining the categories of military air personnel, their qualifications and the extent of expertise and the model of the military air staff licence
In agreement with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Defence provides for the Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 546 / 2005 Coll.:
Decree No. 279 / 1999 Coll., determining the categories of military air personnel, their qualifications and extent of expertise, and the model of the military flight crew pass, shall be amended as follows:
1. In Article 2, at the end of paragraph 1, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following point (k) is added:
"(k) on-board shooter."
2. In Article 2, at the end of paragraph 3, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following point (f) is added:
"(f) gunmen."
3. In Annex No 2, Part I, the following point P. is inserted after point O.:
"P. On-board shooter
3rd class - has a theoretical knowledge corresponding to that class, has completed basic training on a particular type of military aircraft and has a minimum total charge of 100 hours.
2nd class - has a theoretical knowledge corresponding to that class, carries out continuous training on a particular type of military aircraft, is partially combat-usable and has a minimum total charge of 200 hours.
1. class - has a theoretical knowledge corresponding to that class, has completed continuous and combat training on a particular type of military aircraft, is fully combat-usable and has a minimum total charge of 300 hours. '
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 October 2008.
