DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 3 December 1999
on the issue of coins for 20 CZK model 2000
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
On 12 January 2000, coins are issued after 20 CZK of the model 2000 (hereinafter referred to as "20 koruna").
§ 2
(1) The twenty crown has the same composition of metal, weight, diameter and strength including the permitted deviations, the same shape and finish of the edge and the same face side as the coins of 20 CZK model 1993.1)
(2) On the back of the twenty crown is the central fragment of the astrolabe on which the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "20 CZK" is placed in the lower left part of the ring. On the ring which is separated from the middle by a pearl, there is a copy of the repeating text "Year 2000." The author of the 20 crown design is academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl. The initials of his name, across the letters "V" and "O," are placed in the middle of the twenty crown at the bottom right of the pearl on the oblique line representing the axis of the astrolabe.
§ 3
This decree shall take effect on 1 January 2000.
