GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 22 December 1993
increasing the amount of the minimum of life and certain social benefits
The Government mandates pursuant to § 7 of Act No. 463 / 1991 Coll., on Life Minimum, § 15 of Act No. 382 / 1990 Coll., on Parental Contributions, as amended by Act No. 117 / 1992 Coll., and under § 21 of Act No. 50 / 1973 Coll., on Parental Care, as amended by Act No. 118 / 1992 Coll. (Full Act No. 452 / 1992 Coll.):
§ 1
(1) The amount of the minimum of life that is deemed to be required under the Law on the Minimum of Life (1) to ensure the maintenance and other basic personal needs of the citizen, (2) shall be:
(a) CZK 1120 for a child under 6 years of age;
(b) 1240 CZK if the child is between 6 and 10 years of age,
(c) 1500 CZK if the child is between 10 and 15 years of age,
(d) 1620 CZK, if the child is not provided from 15 to 26 years of age,
e) 1500 CZK for other citizens.
(2) The amount of the minimum of living deemed to be required under the Life Minimum Act (1) to ensure the necessary household costs, (3) shall be:
(a) CZK 660, if it is an individual,
b) 860 CZK, if two persons live in the household,
c) 1060 CZK if three or four persons live in the household,
d) 1260 CZK, if five or more people live in the household.
§ 2
(1) Parental allowance due under the Parental Contributal4) amounts to CZK 1500 for each calendar month.
(2) If the parental contribution is due for only part of the calendar month, 5) the amount for each calendar day is CZK 50.
(3) The amount which may not exceed the income from the gainful activity for entitlement to the parental allowance without deduction of tax is CZK 1800 per month. 6)
§ 3
(1) The contribution to the reimbursement of the child's needs under the law on foster care (7) shall be for a calendar month:
(a) CZK 1120 for a child under 6 years of age;
(b) 1240 CZK if the child is between 6 and 10 years of age,
(c) 1500 CZK if the child is between 10 and 15 years of age,
(d) 1620 CZK if the child is between 15 and 26 years of age.
(2) The remuneration of a foster child belonging to the law on foster care, 8), even in the joint foster care of spouses, is CZK 750 per calendar month for each entrusted child.
§ 4
(1) The parental contribution, the child's contribution and the foster remuneration referred to in paragraphs 2 and 3 are for the first time in February 1994.
(2) The amount provided for in Article 2 (3) will be relevant for the first time in February 1994 for the assessment of income from gainful activities.
§ 5
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February 1994.
