GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 5 September 2001
increasing life-minima
The Government orders pursuant to Section 7 of Act No. 463 / 1991 Coll., on Life Minimal, as amended by Act No. 289 / 1997 Coll.:
§ 1
The amount of the minimum of life that is considered necessary under the Life Minimum Act (1) to ensure the nutrition and other basic personal needs of the citizen, (2) is monthly
a) CZK 1,690 if it is for a child under 6 years of age,
(b) CZK 1,890 if the child is between 6 and 10 years of age,
(c) CZK 2,230 for a child aged between 10 and 15;
(d) CZK 2,450 if the child is not provided from 15 to 26 years of age,
(e) CZK 2,320 for other citizens.
§ 2
The amount of the minimum of life that is deemed to be required under the Life Minimum Act (1) shall be:
(a) CZK 1,780 if it is an individual,
b) 2 320 CZK if 2 persons live in the household,
c) CZK 2,880 if 3 or 4 people live in the household,
(d) CZK 3,230 if 5 or more people live in the household.
§ 3
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 October 2001.
