DECLARATION
of 22 September 2017
on the issue of the gold coin "Castle Pernštejn" for 5 000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 24 October 2017, the Gold Coin "Castle Pernštejn" is issued under the "Castle" cycle for CZK 5,000 ("Coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins in normal and special design are made of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 15,55 g, 28 mm diameter and 1.85 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed in both normal and special versions, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance up to 0,062 g is allowed and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
(1) The front of the coin shows a detail of the Gothic door with a repeating character of the House of Pernštejn. The door is covered in the upper part by the composition of heraldic animals from a large state emblem in the shields. In the middle is a Czech lion, on the left is a Moravian eagle and on the right is a Silesian eagle. The name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is placed in the upper left part of the coin field. The denomination of the coin "5,000" with the abbreviation "CZK" in the money unit and the name of the "HRADY" cycle is located in the lower left part of the coin field. The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of composing the letters "No" and "M" at the bottom edge of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the coin is represented part of Pernštejna Castle. In the upper left part of the coin field is the text "HRAD PERNŠTEJN." At the bottom of the coin field is displayed a tooth with a carbon. The initials of the author of the Luboš Charvát coin, which are composed of linked letters "L 'and" Ch', are located under the tooth. The year "2017" is located in the left part of the coin field.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 24 October 2017.
