DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 6 February 1998
on the issue of banknotes of 500 CZK model 1997
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On 18 March 1998, banknotes of CZK 500 model 1997 are issued for circulation.
(2) Banknotes for 500 CZK of model 1997 differ from banknotes for 500 CZK of model 19931) and from banknotes for 500 CZK of model 19952) with the used banknote paper, by making a protective serial number and the issue of the banknote year.
(1) Banknote paper used for printing banknotes of 500 CZK model 1997 is equipped with visible orange protective fibres 6 mm long.
(2) The protective serial number for banknotes after 500 CZK of model 1997 is in the form of letters "Czech Republic" placed in a white circular area. The part of the protective assembly mark visible on the front face is printed in brown and is placed in the upper left part of the banknote pattern. The part of the protective assembly mark visible on the reverse is printed in brown and placed in the top right of the banknote pattern.
(3) The issue of the banknote on the front is printed on the surface and marked "1997."
This Decree shall take effect on 15 March 1998.
