DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 18 May 1977
on the issue of coins of 5 cent pattern 1977
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares, pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform:
§ 1
On 1 July 1977, coins shall be issued for circulation in five halves of model 1977 (hereinafter referred to as "five halves').
§ 2
(1) Five halers are driven from aluminium and magnesium alloy. The weight (weight) of the five-penny is 0,75 g. The diameter is 16.2 mm, its edge is smooth.
(2) A weight (weight) tolerance of 25 / 1000 up and down is permitted for five-inch stamping.
(3) On the face of the five-penny is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, in a copy to the left is the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." The year of production is indicated under the national emblem below.
(4) On the reverse of the five-inch, the value is marked with a large number "5" and the letter "h" below. A five-pointed star is placed in the middle of the number "5." The author of the design for the five-nickel is the academic sculptor František David, whose brand "D" is placed to the left of the letter "h" just below the figure "5."
§ 3
Coins of 5 pennies of 1953 and 1962 remain temporarily in circulation.
§ 4
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
