DECLARATION
of 15 October 2013
amending Decree No. 317 / 2005 Coll., on the continuing training of teaching staff, the accreditation committee and the career system of teaching staff, as amended by Decree No. 412 / 2006 Coll.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provides, pursuant to § 24 (6), § 28 (2) and § 29 (5) of Act No. 563 / 2004 Coll., on Educational Workers and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 198 / 2012 Coll.:
Decree No. 317 / 2005 Coll., on continuing education of teaching staff, accreditation committee and career system of teaching staff, as amended by Decree No. 412 / 2006 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Article 3, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) The study shall take place:
(a) for teachers of secondary school vocational subjects, for teachers of practical secondary school teaching, for teachers of vocational secondary school training, for teachers of artistic subjects at primary art school, secondary school and conservatory, and for teachers of language school with the right of a state language examination of a duration of at least 120 hours;
(b) for educators and assistant educators of at least 80 teaching hours;
(c) for a leisure teacher who carries out a comprehensive direct education activity in private education, for a duration of at least 120 hours; or
(d) for a leisure educator engaged in a part-time direct education activity in private education, for a duration of at least 40 hours. "
Paragraph 2 shall become paragraph 3.
2. In Paragraph 4 (2), the words "in the establishment for the further training of teaching staff 'are deleted.
3. the following Sections 6a and 6b are inserted after Article 6, including the headings and footnotes 8 and 9:
Additional study to extend professional qualifications
(1) An additional study to extend vocational qualifications (8) is awarded to his graduate
(a) the capacity to pursue direct teaching activities at another school or at another school stage; or
(b) the ability to perform the activities of a special educator.
(2) The study referred to in paragraph 1 (a) shall take place in a lifelong learning programme at a university of at least 60 teaching hours.
(3) The study referred to in paragraph 1 (b) shall take place in a lifelong learning programme at a university of at least 650 teaching hours.
(4) The study shall be terminated by defending the final written work and the final examination before the commission. After its successful composition, the graduate is certified.
Additional didactic study of the relevant foreign language
(1) An additional didactic study of the relevant foreign language (9), his graduate acquires knowledge and skills in the field of foreign language didactics.
(2) The study is conducted for a duration of at least 60 hours.
(3) The certificate is evidence of completion.

4. in Article 9 (1), the following point (e) is inserted after point (d):
"(e) specialised activity of a special educator in the field of school logopedia, or"
Point (e) shall be renumbered as point (f).
5. In Paragraph 11 (2), the second sentence is deleted.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 November 2013.
