DECLARATION
of 16 September 2003
amending Decree No 134 / 2001 Coll., on the labelling and registration of bovine, ovine and caprine animals, as amended by Decree No 442 / 2001 Coll.
The Ministry of Agriculture provides, pursuant to Article 33 of Act No. 154 / 2000 Coll., on Breeding, Breeding and Registration of Livestock and on the amendment of certain related laws (Breeding Act), as amended by Act No. 282 / 2003 Coll.:
Decree No. 134 / 2001 Coll., on the labelling and registration of bovine, ovine and caprine animals, as amended by Decree No. 442 / 2001 Coll., is hereby amended as follows:
1. In Article 12, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) Each bovine breeder shall transmit the following additional information to the person responsible for managing the central register of bovine animals:
(a) the country code and the animal identification number;
(b) the date of castration of the male;
(c) the date on which the heifer was lost after 7 months of pregnancy,
(d) the date of birth of the dead calf. ';
Paragraphs 2 to 7 shall be renumbered paragraphs 3 to 8.
2. In Paragraph 12 (4), the words "when to be born, died, lost or transferred 'are replaced by the words" when to be born, killed, lost, castrated, lost, given or moved'.
3. In Article 12 (5), "paragraph 2 'is replaced by" paragraph 3';
4. In Article 16 (d), the following points 3, 4 and 5 are inserted after point 2:
"3rd date of male castration,
4. date of loss of heifer after 7 months of pregnancy,
5. Date of birth of the dead calf. "
Point 3 is renumbered point 6.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
