DECLARATION
of 7 December 2007
amending Decree No. 143 / 1965 Coll., on the provision of cash benefits in sickness insurance, as amended
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides, pursuant to Section 51a of Act No. 54 / 1956 Coll., on the sickness insurance of employees, as amended by Act No. 37 / 1993 Coll.:
Decree No. 143 / 1965 Coll., on the provision of cash benefits in sickness insurance, as amended by Decree No. 95 / 1968 Coll., Decree No. 113 / 1975 Coll., Decree No. 165 / 1979 Coll., Decree No. 79 / 1982 Coll., Decree No. 154 / 1983 Coll., Decree No. 80 / 1984 Coll., Decree No. 134 / 1984 Coll., Decree No. 236 / 1988 Coll., Decree No. 263 / 1990 Coll., Act No. 582 / 1991 Coll., Decree No. 133 / 1993 Coll., Decree No. 313 / 1993 Coll., Decree No. 196 / 1994 Coll., Decree No. 207 / 1995 Coll., Decree No. 282 / 1995 Coll., Decree No. 262.
1. In Section 4, "paragraph 6 'is replaced by" paragraph 5';
2. In Article 5 (1), the words "applicable for part of the calendar day of sick leave (Article 24) 'are replaced by the words" the staff member was subject to a deductible income for part of the working time and for the remainder of the working time he had an excused absence from work due to incapacity (quarantine)'.
3. Article 24 shall be deleted;
4. In the first sentence of Paragraph 34 (1), the words "at the time of military basic service," shall be deleted.
5. In Paragraph 40 (1), the second sentence is deleted.
6. In Paragraph 41, the words "or in a registered partnership 'shall be added at the end of paragraph 3.
7. In Paragraph 41 (4), the words "material security of jobseekers' shall be replaced by" unemployment or retraining aid ';
8. In Article 44, "§ 24 and 25 'is replaced by" § 25';
9. Paragraph 45, including the title, is deleted.
10. In Paragraph 47 (3) of the Introductory Part of the provision, the words "or at the time of infants 2a 'shall be inserted after the words" after childbirth'.
footnote 2a is replaced by the following:
"2a) § 239 of the Labour Code. '.
11. in Article 47 (3), the words "during breastfeeding or" shall be added at the end of the text in point (a).
12. in Article 47 (3) (b) and (4) (a) to (c), the words "or breastfeeding" shall be inserted after the word "mission."
13. in Article 47 (4) (a) to (d), the words "or during breastfeeding" shall be inserted after the words "after birth."
14. In Paragraph 61, the words "basic or other similar services in the armed forces (alternative services, military exercises, etc.) 'are replaced by the words" services in the armed forces of the Czech Republic, with the exception of the service of professional soldiers'.
15. in Paragraph 62 (1), the words "basic or other similar services in the armed forces" are replaced by the words "services in the armed forces of the Czech Republic, with the exception of the service of professional soldiers."
16. Paragraph 62 (2) is deleted and paragraph 1 is deleted.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2008.
