DECLARATION

amending Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs Decree 540 / 1992 Coll., implementing the Puncture Act and testing of precious metals (punk law)
The Ministry of Industry and Trade provides, pursuant to Section 54 of Act No. 539 / 1992 Coll., on Punching and Testing of Precious Metals (Puncture Act):
Decree No 540 / 1992 Coll., implementing the Law on Punching and Testing of Precious Metals (Puncture Act) ("the Act ') is amended as follows:
1. The following Section 4a is inserted after Section 4:
Resolution of punk marks
(1) In order to distinguish the workstation of the punk office, which was issued by the punch mark, the miniature letters of the large alphabet placed in the mark near the number indicating the purity number are used.
(2) The following letters are assigned to the individual workplaces of the punk office in the Czech Republic:
B - Brno
K - Red Bones
P - Prague
H - Hradec Kralove
L - Olomouc
R - Camp
Z - Pilsen
J - Jablonec nad Nisou
O - Ostrava
T - Turnov. '
2. In Article 7, the following paragraph 4 is added:
"(4) For soldering machine-made gold and silver chain, a solder of less purity than that referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2, or a solder entirely of base metal, may be used, provided that the total purity of such produced chains does not fall below the relevant legal purity (Section 5 of the Act). '
3. In Article 11, the following paragraph 1 is added:
"(1) The entry of the punch mark on the goods shall be carried out by mechanical imprinting of the retractor, or, if the promoter agrees, by laser firing. '
Paragraphs 1 to 3 shall be renumbered paragraphs 2 to 4.
4.
Goods of very low weight which are not subject to mandatory punk control [Paragraph 27 (1) (a) (3) of the Act] shall be considered to be goods in respect of which the weight of precious metal in one separate piece does not exceed 0,5 grams for gold and 3 grams for silver. '
This decree shall take effect on 1 January 2001.
