DECLARATION

establishing a list of sectors of employment which include activities dependent on the annual period
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides pursuant to § 96 paragraph 5 of Act No. 435 / 2004 Coll., on Employment, as amended by Act No. 222 / 2017 Coll.:
This decree implements the relevant European UnionRegulation (1) and provides for a list of employment sectors which include activities dependent on the seasons.
A division of economic activities according to the Classification of Economic Activities (CZ- NACE) 2 shall be considered as sectors of employment which include activities dependent on the annual period.
(a) 01 Plant and animal production, hunting and related activities;
(b) 02 Forestry and logging;
(c) 41 Construction of buildings;
(d) 42 Engineering,
(e) 43 Specialised construction activities;
(f) 55 Accommodation,
(g) 56 Meal and hospitality,
(h) 71 Architectural and engineering activities; technical tests and analyses,
(i) 93 Sports, entertainment and recreational activities.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

1) Directive 2014 / 36 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals for employment as seasonal workers.
2) Communication from the Czech Statistical Office No. 244 / 2007 Coll., on the introduction of the Classification of Economic Activities (CZ-NACE).
