THE LAW
of 29 May 2002
amending Act No. 94 / 1963 Coll., on Family, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 94 / 1963 Coll., on the Family, as amended by Act No. 132 / 1982 Coll., Act No. 234 / 1992 Coll., the Constitutional Court Act No. 72 / 1995 Coll., Act No. 91 / 1998 Coll., Act No. 360 / 1999 Coll., Act No. 301 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 109 / 2002 Coll. and Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., is amended as follows:
In Paragraph 4, the following sentence is added at the end of paragraph 2: "A declaration of marriage may also be made before the mayor of the capital city of Prague, the deputy mayor of the capital city of Prague or an authorised member of the representative of the capital city of Prague, as well as before the mayor of the statutory city, the deputy mayor of the capital city of Prague or an authorised member of the representative of the government city of Prague."
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 2003.
