DECLARATION
of 20 August 2021
laying down the activities which may be carried out by a doctor without professional supervision after obtaining a certificate of completion of the primary strain of gynecological / obstetrics
According to § 37 (1) (k) for the implementation of § 4 (4) (a) of Act No. 95 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising professional competence and specialised competence for the pursuit of the medical profession of physician, dental practitioner and pharmacist, as amended by Act No. 67 / 2017 Coll.:
After obtaining a certificate of completion of the primary strain of gynaecological-obstetrics without professional supervision, the doctor may:
(a) indicate medicinal products and medical devices except radiopharmaceuticals and cytostatics;
(b) indicate and interpret basic imaging methods and laboratory tests;
(c) recognise and evaluate the severity of sudden or failure of vital signs;
(d) to perform suturing of uncomplicated skin and subcutaneous injuries, including local anaesthesia,
(e) assist in surgical operations;
(f) conduct basic treatment of burns, frostbite, chemical and radiation injuries;
g) implement nasogastric probes;
(h) to administer reports to national registers;
(i) indicate blood transfusions, including blood derivatives.
After obtaining a certificate of completion of the primary strain of gynaecology and obstetrics without professional supervision, the doctor may also:
(a) perform a comprehensive gynecological examination with the determination of a differential diagnostic balance sheet and a proposal for a further procedure;
(b) to carry out pre-biopsy investigation methods;
(c) conduct targeted biopsies;
(d) carry out dilation and probing of the uterine cavity, throat abrasion and uterine body, evacuation of the uterine cavity, artificial termination of pregnancy, diagnostic hysteroscopy, cervical conicity, targeted puncture of the ovary or Cavum Douglas, treatment of the cyst of the Bartholin gland, excision or other forms of treatment or collection of material from the external genital, vagina and cervix;
e) perform basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations in gynecology;
(f) perform differential diagnosis of sudden events in gynecology;
g) open the abdominal cavity from the middle and transverse suprapubic incision,
(h) on the basis of an indication by a physician with specialised competence to perform laparoscopy with adnex performance,
(i) carry out basic birth tests with the determination of a differential diagnostic balance sheet and a proposal for a further procedure;
(j) lead the spontaneous vaginal delivery of the fetus in the position of the longitudinal head;
(k) to treat uncomplicated birth injuries, manual or instrumental revision of the uterine cavity after delivery,
(l) on the basis of an indication by a doctor with specialised competence to perform an uncomplicated C-section,
(m) on the basis of the indication of a physician with specialised competence to perform during the second period birth extraction vaginal surgery by the technique of vacuumextraction,
(n) to carry out and evaluate cardioptographic records during pregnancy and childbirth,
o) perform urgent resuscitation of pregnant women, mothers and newborns,
(p) to diagnose and provide professional first aid for serious birth complications such as birth bleeding, disseminated intravascular coagulopathy, uterine rupture, preeclampsia and its complications,
q) perform ultrasound examination of early pregnancy and pregnancy dating,
(r) perform ultrasound assessments of amniotic fluid and placenta,
s) perform ultrasound fetal biometry;
t) perform ultrasound assessments of foetal and foetal and uteroplationary blood supply,
u) perform ultrasonic biophysical scoring systems, interpretation and evaluation of limits.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 2021.
