GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 13 July 2020
on the use of the Army of the Czech Republic for rescue work to protect the population and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus SARS CoV-2 in the period until 31 December 2020
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 (3) and § 15 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended:
In order to assist the Ministry of Health, Regional Health and Health Institutions in the management of the epidemic, no more than 68 soldiers in active duty are called to rescue and prevent the spread of SARS CoV-2 coronavirus.
The Minister of Defence shall designate troops in active service, including military equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1.
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 31 December 2020.
