DECLARATION
of 20 September 2012
amending Decree No 344 / 2003 Coll., laying down requirements for tobacco products
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to Article 18 (1) (j) of Act No. 110 / 1997 Coll., on Food and Tobacco Products and amending and supplementing certain related laws, as amended by Act No. 119 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 306 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 146 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 274 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 316 / 2004 Coll. and Act No. 120 / 2008 Coll.:
This decree was notified in accordance with Directive 98 / 34 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 June 1998 laying down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations and rules and of rules on information society services, as amended.
In Annex No 2 to Decree No 344 / 2003 Coll., laying down requirements for tobacco products, point 7 reads as follows:
"7. Filters and mouthpieces of cigarettes, cigars or cigarillos
cellulose acetate (acetylcellulose);
glycerol acetate (diacetin, triacetin),
activated charcoal;
brilliant blue FCF (E 133),
sodium citrate (E 331),
ethylcitrates (di- and tri-) (E 1505),
glycerol (E 422),
Gellan gum (E 418),
magnesium silicate (pumice) (E 553), hydrated,
indigotine (E 132),
Mentol,
modified starch,
Aluminium oxide;
silicon dioxide (E 551);
Titanium dioxide (E 171) up to 2% by weight of filter,
paper, cellulose (E 460),
polyethylene,
polypropylene,
natural and artificially prepared silicates and aluminosilicates Na, K, Ca, Mg, Al and Fe (E 552, E 553a, E 553b, E 554, E 555, E 556, E 558 and E 559),
silica gel;
sunflower oil,
mixtures obtained from aqueous dispersions of poly (vinyl acetate) - the same as those specified in 4b.aa and 4b.bb,
sorbitol (E 420);
tartrazine (E 102);
triethylene glycol diacetate,
intermediate chain triglycerides,
gelatin. ';
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2013.
