of 8 August 2001
amending Act No 363 / 1999 Coll., on Insurance and amending certain related laws (Insurance Act), as amended by Act No 159 / 2000 Coll.
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 363 / 1999 Coll., on Insurance and on the amendment of certain related laws (Insurance Act), as amended by Act No. 159 / 2000 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 30 (5), the word "final 'is deleted.
2. in Article 30 (5) (a), the words "the right to appeal against a decision of the Ministry imposing compulsory administration in an insurance or reinsurance undertaking" shall be inserted after the words "with the exception of."
3. in Article 30 (10) (c):
"(c) the entry of an insurance or reinsurance undertaking into liquidation or a declaration of bankruptcy into an insurance or reinsurance undertaking.";
Transitional provision
The decision of the Ministry to establish compulsory administration in an insurance or reinsurance undertaking and which has not acquired legal power at the time of the entry into force of this law shall be governed by the existing legislation.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
