DECLARATION
of 1 July 2005
on the issue of gold coins "Present - Dancing House in Prague" for CZK 2,000
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On 20 September 2005 gold coins "Present - Dancing House in Prague" are issued as part of the "Ten Century of Architecture" cycle for CZK 2,000 ("Coins"). The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coins and matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 6.22 g, its diameter is 20 mm and its strength is 1.55 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth. When the coin is embossed in normal and special design, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In weight, the tolerance allowed up to 0,062 g and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%.
(1) On the front side of the coin is a composition of heraldic animals from the great state sign of the Czech Republic located on a diamond net reminiscent of the glass corner tower of the Dancing House. The Czech lion is in the middle, on the right Moravian and on the left Silesian eagle. At the bottom edge of the coin, the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in the unclosed copy, and at the left, upper and right edges of the coin is also in the unclosed copy the name of the cycle "DESET STOLETY ARCHITECTURE." Above the name of the state is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "2000 CZK" in two rows. The images of heraldic animals and the handwriting of the copy intersect with the diamond net. The coin tag that hit the coin is located in a oblique direction below the Moravian eagle.
(2) On the reverse side of the coin is shown Dancing House in the ceiling. At the left, upper and right edges of the coin, there is the text "PRESENT - TANKING HOUSE IN PRE" in the unclosed copy. This year's "2005" is also in an unclosed copy at the bottom of the coin. The letters of the text at the left and right edges of the coin and the number of the year intersect with the picture of the Dancing House. The author of the fine design of the coin is the academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl, whose stylized initials, the letter "V" inserted in the letter "O" are placed in the lower right part of the coin under the windows of the right corner tower of the Dancing House.
This Decree shall take effect on 15 September 2005.
