GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 3 November 2010
on awards awarded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
The Government orders pursuant to § 49 (6) of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and on the amendment of certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll.:
Education, Youth and Sports Awards
(1) The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports may award the following awards:
a) Medal of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports,
b) The Prize of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for Excellent Students and Graduates in the Study Programme and for the Exceptions of Students;
c) The plaque of Františka Flamínková,
d) The Milady Paul Prize,
(e) the European language prize Label and the European language teacher award;
f) Award of the most successful athletes of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports,
g) Award of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports "Fair Play,"
h) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports for Working with Children and Youth;
(i) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports "Talent,"
j) Medal of J. A. Komenský National Educational Museum and J. A. Komenský Library in Prague,
k) Medals of Pitter National Educational Museum and J. A. Komenský Library in Prague,
l) The Prize of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for Excellent Education at the College.
(2) The Czech School Inspection Centre can award the Medal of the Czech School Inspection "For Merit on the Development of Quality Education."
Medals of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
(1) The Medal of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports is awarded to a natural person, legal person or group of natural persons, as the case may be, for an important pedagogical, educational, scientific, sporting or artistic activity carried out in the field of education, youth or sports, or for an extremely deserving act in ensuring and improving the conditions for education and education in the Czech Republic. A natural person may also be awarded a medal on the occasion of a life or working anniversary for long-term and excellent activities in the field of education, youth or sports.
(2) The awards referred to in paragraph 1 shall constitute a diploma and a silver medal at first instance and a diploma and a bronze medal at second stage.
Award of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports for Excellent Students and Graduates in the Study Programme and for Exceptional Activities of Students
(1) The Prize of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for Excellent Students and Graduates of Study in the Study Programme and for the Exceptions of Students is awarded to a student or graduate of the Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Study Programme for extraordinary results in the study or in scientific, research, development, artistic or other creative activities related to the study in the study programme. In addition, this award shall be awarded to a student or graduate for an extraordinary act demonstrating civil bravery, responsibility or dedication.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and other material or cash awards of up to CZK 50 000. A maximum of 10 such valuations may be issued in a calendar year.
Plate of Františka Flamínková
(1) Plate of Františka The Flamingos are awarded to a natural person for his bravery in the fight against evil and hatred and his moral and sense of justice. It appreciates the decisive action in the difficult and difficult situation in which these human characteristics have manifested themselves.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and plaque.
Milady Paul's Prize
(1) The Milady Paul Prize is awarded to a natural person for a significant contribution to the development of the scientific field, extraordinary results in the field of international research and development, significant teaching, publishing or popularisation activities, or merit in the development of civil society.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and a cash award of up to CZK 250,000. Only one such valuation may be granted in a calendar year.
European Language Prize Label and European Language Teacher Award
(1) The European Language Prize shall be awarded to a legal person for an important activity contributing to the development of foreign language teaching and learning.
(2) The European Language Teacher shall be awarded an award to a natural person for an important activity contributing to the development of foreign language teaching and learning.
(3) The awards referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall consist of a diploma and other awards in the form of material, cash or in a combination of both forms of up to CZK 200,000. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 1,400,000.
Award of the most successful athletes of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
(1) The award of the most successful athletes of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports is awarded to the most successful athletes of the academic representation of the Czech Republic.
(2) The valuation referred to in paragraph 1 shall constitute a cash or material valuation of up to CZK 35,000. The amount of the awarded award shall take into account the medal placement of the athlete or the importance of exceptional sporting performance. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 1,500,000.
Award of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports "Fair Play"
(1) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports "Fair Play" is awarded to a natural and legal person, or to a group of individuals in the field of education and education for exceptional acts of a sports character in difficult life situations.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and a material or cash award of up to CZK 6,000. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 200,000.
Prize of Minister for Education, Youth and Sports for Working with Children and Youth
(1) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports for Working with Children and Youth is awarded to a natural person, legal person or group of natural persons for a significant long-term activity with children and youth in the field of interest education, the use of leisure or sport and sports.
(2) The price referred to in paragraph 1 is a material award of up to CZK 20,000. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 500,000.
"Talent"
(1) The Prize of the Minister for Education, Youth and Sports "Talent" is awarded to a student or student under 21 years of age for an exceptional and excellent result in particular in the technical or natural sciences or in a major international competition.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and other monetary or material awards of up to CZK 50 000. The amount of the valuation shall take into account the importance of the exceptional result in terms of the field concerned. The sum of the values of these awards awarded in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 500,000.
Medal of J. A. Comenius National Educational Museum and Library of J. A. Komenský in Prague
(1) The J. A. Komenský Medal of the National Educational Museum and the J. A. Komenský Library in Prague is awarded to a natural or legal person or group of natural persons for an important educational, educational or scientific activity carried out in the field of the dissemination of J. A. Komenski's legacy or for an extremely valuable act for education and education in the spirit of J. A. Komenský's principles in the Czech Republic or abroad. A natural person may also be awarded a medal on the occasion of a life or working anniversary for the long-term outstanding results of scientific work in the fields of commeniology, history, history of education and pedagogy, which will significantly enhance cultural values in the field of education.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and medals.
Medals by Pitter National Educational Museum and J. A. Komenský Library in Prague
(1) The Medal of Premysl Pitter of the National Educational Museum and the library of J. A. Komenský in Prague is awarded to an important domestic or foreign natural or legal person who has been responsible for improving relations between people and nations in the spirit of humanistic legacy of Reichle Pitter and has contributed to the development of spiritual values which he contains and to which he is directed.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and medals.
Czech School Inspection Medal "For Merit on the Development of Quality Education"
(1) The Czech School Inspection Medal "For Merit in the Development of Quality Education" is awarded to a natural or legal person for a long-term and valuable activity in the field of the development of Quality Education in the Czech Republic.
(2) The award referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and medals.
The Prize of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for Excellent Education at the College
(1) The award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for excellent education activities in a university is awarded to the staff of a university for excellent education or for significant innovation in educational activities.
(2) The awards referred to in paragraph 1 shall consist of a diploma and other material or cash awards of up to CZK 100 000. A maximum of 5 such valuations may be issued in a calendar year.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 15 November 2010.
