Government Regulation
of 25 March 1948
on the granting of leave and the payment of benefits for the duration of the holiday in construction and secondary construction trades according to the registration system in 1948.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders pursuant to Article 18 of the Act of 14 May 1947, No 82 Coll., on the transitional arrangements for paid leave for recovery, and Article 1 of the Law of 18 December 1947, No 220 Coll., on the transitional arrangements for paid leave for recovery in 1948:
Čl. I.
The provisions of the Government Decree of 24 June 1947, No. 120 Coll., on the provision of leave and the payment of benefits during the period of leave in construction and secondary construction trades in 1947 according to the brand name system, shall also apply in 1948 with the following amendments:
1. Paragraph 1 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The secondary building trades referred to in this Regulation shall be broken down by quarries, gravel plants and sandrooms and by works of painting, painting, varnish, stucco, tiles, roofing, asphaltic, tarpaulin, terracing, insulating, including insulation of heat, cooling and sound, as well as sealing. '
2. Paragraph 1 (4) reads as follows:
"(4) All posts, workshops, warehouses and bearings shall be regarded as racing and racing departments in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 3. ';
3. In the last sentence of Paragraph 2 (3), "1 January 1947 'is replaced by" 1 January 1948'.
4. In Paragraph 3, the following provision is inserted after paragraph 3 as paragraph 4:
"(4) Parts I and II of the ticket may be used without a time limit. Part III shall apply only if 52 weeks have not elapsed since the date of establishment of the ticket. If Parts I and II of the Ticket have been fully glued to the Ticket and if at least 52 weeks have elapsed since the date of establishment of the Ticket, a new Ticket shall be established without regard to whether or not Part III has been used. '
5. the following sentence shall be added to Article 5 (3):
"These marks shall not, however, be affixed during the period of active service of the military, provided that the staff member has been reimbursed for the value of the stamp applied pursuant to Article 9 before the military service is started. '
6. Paragraph 8 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The employer is obliged to pay benefits during the period of leave (§ 7 (1)) to the staff member no later than the day before the start of the leave and to deduct the salary tax. '
7. in Paragraph 9 (2) (a), "6 months" is replaced by "3 months."
8. Paragraph 9 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) In addition, the consent to pay the value of the stamps in the cases referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be subject to the confirmation of the employer in whose establishment the staff member is or has been last employed that the amount to be reimbursed has been properly taxed on payroll taxes. '
9. In Paragraph 9, the following provision is inserted after paragraph 3 as paragraph 4:
"(4) The Regional Labour Protection Authorities may exceptionally give their consent to the early payment referred to in paragraph 1 and in other cases where there are grounds of special consideration. ';
10. The model of the holiday ticket (Annex A) shall be added to the upper part of the section reserved for the employer's stamp by means of a pre-print "Exposition of leave on 1 January 1948:..... weeks."
Čl. II.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1948; they shall be carried out by social security ministers and post offices.
