on the issue of gold coins "Early Gothic - Monastery in Vyší Broda" for CZK 2,000
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) On 26 September 2001, the Gold Coins "Early Gothic - Monastery in Vyší Broda" are issued as part of the "Ten Century of Architecture" cycle for CZK 2,000 ("Coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coins and matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 6.22 g, its diameter is 20 mm and its strength is 1.4 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth. When the coin is embossed in normal and special design, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In weight, the tolerance allowed up to 0,062 g and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%.
§ 2
(1) On the front side there is a free composition of stylized heraldic animals in the upper half of the coin from the great state emblem of the Czech Republic. The Czech lion is in the middle between the Moravian eagle (left) and the Silesian eagle (right) and is placed higher than both eagles. The name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is placed in one row below it. Under the name of the state, the bottom half of the coin field is the fragment of the circle of the Gothic circular window, the central ornament of which is incorporated in two rows of the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "2000 CZK." The coin tag that struck the coin is placed in the middle ornament in the lower half of the ring fragment. In the unclosed copy at the bottom edge of the coin is the text "DESET TABLE ARCHITECTURE."
(2) On the reverse side there is a transcription of the motif of one of the paintings from the cycle of the Master of the Schebrod altar of the Born of the Lord, where the most important fundamentalist of the monastery Vok z Rožmberk is depicted with a model of the monastery on his hands. The main motif of the coin is supplemented by a five-leaf Rožberg rose and the year "2001," indicating the year of the stamping placed below it above the model monastery. At the top of the coin is the unclosed copy "Early GOTIKA," at the bottom of the coin also the unclosed copy "HIGH BROD CLASTER." The author of the coin design is academic sculptor Michal Vitanovský. The initials of his name "MV," connected to the shape of a stylized heart, are at the right edge of the coin in the middle.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 26 September 2001.
