DECLARATION
of 8 September 2003
determining the amounts by which the minimum living requirement of persons whose health needs increased the cost of dietary meals is increased for social purposes
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides pursuant to § 2 paragraph 1 of Act No. 482 / 1991 Coll., on Social Needs, as amended by Act No. 280 / 2003 Coll.:
(1) The amount required to ensure the nutrition and other basic personal needs of a citizen provided for by a special legislature1 (hereinafter referred to as "personal needs amount") is increased monthly for the purposes of social needs for persons whose health condition, as recommended by the competent medical practitioner, requires increased dietary catering costs:

| c) u diety pankreatické | o 900 Kč, |
| d) u diety nízkocholesterolové při hypercholesterolemii nebo hyperlipoproteinemii | o 900 Kč, |
| e) u diety diabetické | o 1 000 Kč, |
| f) u diety při onemocnění fenylketonurií | o 2 000 Kč, |
| g) u diety při onemocnění celiakií | o 2 400 Kč. |
(2) In specific cases of increased dietary diet costs due to diet reduction in severe musculoskeletal disorders, cardiovascular diseases or severe characteristics (usually for one year), liver diets, nutritious diets in post-major thin or colon resection conditions, post-gastric resection conditions, during acute treatment of oncological diseases or malnutrition of any etiology, gallbladder diets in evidence of anatomical changes, and significant functional disorders, the amount of personal need is increased by the amount corresponding to the type of diet referred to in points (a) to (e) of paragraph 1, according to which such diet is comparable, according to the expert physician in terms of the type of disease.
(3) If a citizen's health requires more diets, the amount of personal needs shall only be increased once by an amount corresponding to that of the diets prescribed by the highest citizen under consideration.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 October 2003.
