THE LAW
of 8 December 1993
amending and supplementing Act No. 47 / 1956 Coll., on Civil Aviation (Aviation Act), as amended by Act No. 40 / 1964 Coll., Act No. 43 / 1976 Coll., Act No. 90 / 1990 Coll. and Act No. 383 / 1990 Coll.
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
The Air Force is hereby repealed.
1. The provisions of Title IV., including the title, shall be deleted.
2. the following Title IXa is inserted after Title IX., including the title:
State Air Inspection
(1) An administrative office of the State Aviation Inspection with its headquarters in Prague, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Transport, is hereby established.
(2) The Head of the State Air Inspection is the Director appointed and removed by the Minister for Transport.
(3) The State Air Inspection is a legal person. The details of the organisation of the State Air Inspection shall be adapted to the status approved by the Minister for Transport.
(4) The State Air Inspection is the successor entity of the State Air Inspection established by Decree No. 209 / 1964 Coll., on the establishment of the State Air Inspection and Transport Airport Administration, as amended by Decree No. 104 / 1977 Coll.
(1) The State Air Inspection shall exercise its competence under this Law.
(2) The State Air Inspection exercises the competence of state professional oversight in civil aviation under Act No. 203 / 1964 Coll., on the modification of certain tasks of civil aviation administration.
(3) Furthermore, the State Air Inspection shall exercise this competence:
(a) assign a registration (registration) mark to civil aircraft (§ 7);
(b) approve substantial changes in the design of the dragon or of the civilian aircraft equipment which may cause a change in the flight characteristics of the aircraft or its strength (§ 11 (4));
(c) tests the eligibility of foreign aircraft (§ 51). ';
1. The Decree of the Federal Ministry of Transport of 24 November 1976 No 24 324 / 76- 025 laying down the principles of organisation, armaments and equipment of the Department of Armed Airport Protection and the principle of training and service of its members (registered at 31 / 1976 Coll.), as amended by the Decree of the Federal Ministry of Transport of 28 May 1979 No 13 724 / 79- 025 (registered at 16 / 1979 Coll.), is hereby repealed.
2. Part of the first Decree No 209 / 1964 Coll., establishing the State Air Inspection and Transport Airport Administration, as amended by Decree No 104 / 1977 Coll.
This Law shall take effect on 1 January 1994.
