DECLARATION
of 11 September 2012
amending Decree No 502 / 2005 Coll., on determining the method of reporting electricity quantities in the coincineration of biomass and non-renewable resources
According to Section 12 (3) of Act No. 180 / 2005 Coll., on the promotion of the production of electricity from renewable energy sources and on the amendment of certain laws (Act on the Promotion of the Use of Renewable Resources), the Energy Regulatory Authority provides for the implementation of Section 4 (12) of the Act on the Promotion of the Use of Renewable Resources:
Annex 3 to Decree No 502 / 2005 Coll., on determining how electricity is to be reported in the joint reporting of biomass and non-renewable resources, reads as follows:
"Annex No 3 to Decree No 502 / 2005 Coll.
Method of calculating the amount of electricity produced by the joint combustion of biomass and non-renewable energy sources
(1) In the production of electricity by simultaneous combustion of biomass and non-renewable energy sources, the amount of electricity from renewable sources is determined according to the formula
Eoze = Ioze = Ioze = 1nMozei Iozi = 1nMozei = 1nMozei + Iozi = 1nMfosi × Esv-Evl MWh
where
i the serial number of the boiler in the group
n number of boilers in the group.
(2) If both co-incineration biomass boilers and non-renewable sources work in a common steam bus simultaneously in one boiler and in a boiler with parallel combustion of renewable sources, i.e. biomass only boilers, the amount of electricity from parallel combustion of renewable sources and the amount of electricity from co-incineration shall be determined according to the formula:
Eoze-paralel = ijj = 1mQvor, oze-parallel ijj = 1nQvyri × Esv-Evl MWh
Eoze- together = Eoze- Eoze- parallel MWh
where
i the serial number of the boiler in the group
n number of boilers in the group
j the serial number of the boiler with parallel combustion, i.e. the boiler in the group burning only biomass
m number of boilers with parallel combustion, i.e. the number of boilers in the biomass-only group. ';
Transitional provision
For the reporting of the quantities of electricity produced by the joint combustion of biomass and the non-renewable energy source in the plants put into service by the date of entry into force of this decree, the method of calculating the quantities of electricity produced by the joint combustion of biomass and the non-renewable energy source referred to in Annex 3 to Decree No 502 / 2005 Coll., on the determination of the method of reporting the quantities of electricity in the joint combustion of biomass and non-renewable energy sources, as effective by the date of entry into force of that decree.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on the first day of the second calendar month following its publication.
