DECLARATION
of 23 September 2013
on the method of external designation of Military Police and Military Police, model of service card and colour design and identification of means of transport and special vehicles of Military Police
According to § 55 of Act No. 300 / 2013 Coll., on Military Police and on the amendment of certain laws (Act on Military Police):
§ 1
Military Police Symbol
The Military Police symbol is a grenade with blazing flames. The depiction of a grenade with smashing flames in golden and silver designs is given in Annex 1 to this decree.
§ 2
External identification of military officer
(1) In the performance of their duties in military uniform, the Military Police shall constitute the external designation of a military officer.
(a) a sleeve character, the shape of which is determined by a shield identical to the shield of a large national character, the colour of the shield is blue, the lining of the ribbon is in the colour of the tricolor, the figure in the shield is replaced by the letters "VP" (MILITARY POLICE) of white; a representation of the pattern of the sleeve character is given in Annex 2 to this order; and
(b) the Military Police badge with an identification number in a metal plastic design, consisting of an oval of blue colour, shall have a white metal cross-sword in the middle and a four-digit number above it; the upper part is the inscription "MILITARY 'and the lower part is the inscription" POLICE'; a representation of the pattern of the Military Police badge with the identification number is given in Annex 3 to this decree. Military police badge with identification number is visibly placed on the left side of the chest of a military officer.
(2) In the performance of their duties in military uniform, the Military Police in Green or Beige Printing shall constitute the external designation of a military police officer.
(a) a black-coloured sleeve character in the shape of a rectangle on which silver or grey letters "VP" are placed centrally throughout the whole area of the emblem; a pattern of the sleeve character is given in Annex 4 to this Decree; and
(b) a yellow colour identification number on a black background visible on the right side of the chest of a military officer and, where a military officer uses reflective, protective or tactical aids in the performance of his duties, on such devices; a representation of the model identification number is given in Annex 5 to this Decree.
(3) The sleeve character of a military police officer serving in operational deployment outside the Czech Republic in the military uniform of the Military Police in green or beige printing is composed of a rectangle of black colour in whose full area the silver or grey letters "MP" are centrally located; The model of the sleeve character identifying the military officer in the military police operation outside the Czech Republic is set out in Annex 6 to this decree.
(4) The sleeve character is placed on the left sleeve of the military uniform of the Military Police.
(5) The appropriate marking and the yellow, silver or grey inscription "MILITARY POLICE" may also include reflective, protective or tactical aids.
(6) A black sleeve shall be used for the external designation of a military police officer when serving in civil clothing, on which the words "MILITARY POLICE 'are placed in yellow. a pattern of sleeve tape is given in Annex 13 to this Decree. The sleeve tape is placed on the left upper arm of a military officer.
§ 2b
Labelling as part of military uniform Military Police
If the Military Police uniform includes a coat of paint with long or short sleeves in black, it shall bear a yellow, silvery or grey inscription "MILITARY POLICE ', a value designation and an identification number. In such a case, the appropriate marking and identification number shall be placed visibly on the right side of the chest of a military officer.
§ 3
Service card
The representation of the model of the service card is set out in Annex 9 to this Order; the service card is stored in a black leather two-piece case. The military police badge with the identification number is attached to the left half of the case.
§ 4
Colour design and identification of means of transport Military Police
(1) The passenger and passenger terrain vehicle of the Military Police is white with side horizontal longitudinal stripes of green colour. On these stripes is a black inscription "MILITARY POLICE."
(2) The personal off-road vehicle of the Military Police is made in dark khaki colour with side horizontal longitudinal stripes of white on which the black sign "VOYENSKY POLICE 'is placed, or without these stripes with the white sign" VOYENSKY POLICE' on the sides of the vehicle.
(3) On the hood of the engine, luggage compartment and on both front doors is the Military Police sign in yellow and black on white background. In addition to the Military Police sign, if this vehicle type is allowed, the sign "MILITARY POLICE" is placed on the rear hood.
(4) Military police may also use a vehicle which does not have the special colour design set out in paragraphs 1 to 3. Such a vehicle may be marked
(a) the removable inscriptions "MILITARY POLICE" and the removable characters "MILITARY POLICE" in the version referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3; or
(b) the inscription "MILITARY POLICE" in black on a white background placed behind the windscreen of the vehicle; The marking of a vehicle shall also be considered as such by means of the light inscription "MILITARY POLICE 'in accordance with the legislation governing the approval of the technical competence and technical conditions of use of vehicles on the road (1).
(5) The model of the Military Police emblem is set out in Annex 10 to this Decree.
(6) The colour and marking of the vehicles of the Military Police is shown in Annex 11 to this Decree. The colour and marking of the vehicles of the Military Police may be reflective or supplemented with reflective elements.
(7) In the operation of the Military Police outside the Czech Republic, vehicles of the Military Police may be marked in a foreign language according to local requirements.
(8) Paragraphs 1 to 7 shall apply mutatis mutandis to the marking of other means of transport and special vehicles of the Military Police, depending on their size and shape. For the designation of a vehicle, vessel, aircraft or other object, if used in the performance of military police tasks, the inscription "MILITARY POLICE 'may be used in black on white.
§ 5
Tape
In order to define the designated points to which entry is prohibited, the Military Police shall use as technical means the marking "MILITARY POLICE" "ENTERTAINMENT" as a technical means. A representation of the model of the marking is given in Annex 12 to this Decree.
§ 6
Transitional provisions
(1) Until 31 December 2018 reflective vests may be used in the existing colour version, as shown in Annex 7 to Decree No 212 / 2003 Coll.
(2) Until 31 December 2018 service vehicles with special colour design and marking provided for in Section 3 of Decree No 212 / 2003 Coll.
§ 7
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 October 2013.
