DECLARATION
of 12 January 2016
on the issue of the commemorative silver five hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak National Council
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 10 February 2016 the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak National Council is issued a commemorative silver coin of 500 CZK (hereinafter referred to as the "five hundred koruna").
(2) Five hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as "special version").
(3) Five hundred crowns in normal and special design are rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 koruna is 25 g, its diameter is 40 mm and its strength is 2.75 mm. In the case of embossing of five hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass the tolerance is up to 0,50 g and in silver content the tolerance is up to 1%. The edge of the five hundred crown in normal design is serrated, the edge of the five hundred crown in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 25 g *."
(1) On the front side of the five-hundred crown is a blooming lip branch, overlapping by the Czech flag, in whose leaf is laid the Czech lion, accompanied on the upper and lower edges of the battalion by the text "FREEDOM IS THE NATIONAL, WHICH IS NOT CHANGED BY THE POWER OF ANOTHER NATIONAL." There is a copy of the text "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation of the money unit "500 CZK." The name of the state is separated from the denomination by a dot at the beginning and at the end by the brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the compositions of the letters "No" and "M."
(2) The reverse side of the five hundred crown is on the left hand side of the Battalion of Slovakia and on the right hand side of the Battalion of Bohemia. The banners are covered by an Austrian eagle. In the foreground is the battalion of the Czechoslovak National Council styled in the shape of a sword. On the perimeter of the coin is a copy of the text "CZECHOSLOVAK NATIONAL COUNCIL" and under the image of the sword are the years "1916" and "2016." The text is separated from the dates from the beginning by the dot and at the end by the initials of the author MgA. Josef Shafarík, DiS., Ph.D., which are composed of compositions of letters "J" and "Š."
(3) The image of the five hundred crowns is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 10 February 2016.
