Government Decree on the State Journalism Prize Václav Kopecký

GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 16 March 1962
on the state journalistic award of Václav Kopecký
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders, with the consent of the President of the Republic, pursuant to § 7 of Act No. 247 / 1949 Coll., on Honours and Honours:
§ 1
To honor comrade Václav Kopecký, a state journalistic award is hereby established.
§ 2
The Wenceslas Kopecký State Journalist Award is awarded as a token of the appreciation of press, radio, television and news film staff for particularly important journalistic and publicity activities for the realisation of ideas of socialism and communism.
§ 3
Václav Kopecký's State Journalist Award is awarded by the President of the Republic on 21 September, on a proposal from the Government.
§ 4
(1) Václav Kopecký's state journalistic award is accompanied by a reward of 10 000 Kcs; the remuneration is not subject to taxes or charges.
(2) Wenceslas Kopecký, the State Journalist Award holders, are given the deed to be awarded the State Prize and have the right to wear a red ribbon with a horizontal blue stripe on the upper and lower edges.
§ 5
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
